Howard Sykes

Visitation for Howard Gordon Sykes, age 74 of Clarksville will be Friday, Apr 27, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. In keeping with Howard's wishes no service is planned.

Howard  passed away on Tuesday, Apr 24, 2018 at Skyline Medical Center.  He was born on Jul 31, 1943 in Palmyra, TN to Gholson and Evie Sykes.

In addition to his parents Howard is preceded in death by his sister Pearl Harrison, and survived by his loving wife of 49 years Suzanne Baker Sykes, daughters; Tonya Wall, Tasha Sykes, and Trisha Sykes, brother Lee (Betty Lou) Sykes, sisters; Lucille Sanders of Hopkinsville, Louise Dozier of Ashland City, Mary (Hershel) Basham of Cunningham, and Doshia (Bill) Robertson of Old Hickory, grandchildren; Ryan Wall and Amanda Wall, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Howard served in the United States Army. He worked his entire life in the grocery business, and retired from the Ft. Campbell Blvd. Wal- Mart.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
