Zenta Damico matriarch of the Stefko family went on to her next journey at 97 years of age on December 17, 2022. She was born in Petzenhausen Germany to Johann Deininger and Appalonia Hoermann.
A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Stefko, 2nd husband Nickolas Damico, daughter Theresa Ott, brothers Georg Deininger, Johann Deininger and her sisters Monika Deininger, Apollonia Deininger and Katherina Deininger.
She is survived by 9 children: Tilly (Don) Shrader, Katherine (Norman) Dewein, Anthony (Diane) Stefko, Erick (Paula) Stefko, Mike (Deirdre) Stefko, Monica (Victor) Robinson, Jane (Danny) Cisneros, Raymond (Connie) Stefko, and Robert Stefko; 27 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Zenta loved being with her family the most, watching her birds and squirrels, and going to the casino. She was an army wife for over 30 years.
