Willie Peacher

Willie Mae (Billie) Peacher, 85, Clarksville, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson and Rev. Gene Horn officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 1:00 P.M. until hour of service Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Peacher was born February 1, 1925 in Stewart County to the late Willie and Myrtle Edwards Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hershel C. Peacher. She was a retired beautician and attended Hilldale Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Bobby (Edith) Peacher, Ted (Pat) Peacher, Roger (Becky) Peacher all of Clarksville; sisters, Frances Wyatt, Mt. Juliet, Ethel Ezell, Clarksville; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
