Willie J. Harrison, 78, Clarksville, died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garner Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Harrison was born February 11, 1931 in Bay County Florida, son of James Soloman Harrison and Lena Davis Harrison, who preceded him in death. He was a truck driver, served in the U.S. Army, and attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Jane A. Vick Harrison, sons William Harrison, Clarksville; David Harrison, PA., and a daughter Cynthia Harrison of Clarksville. Other survivors are his brothers James Harrison and Loyd Harrison both of Florida, Charlie Harrison, RI; Floyd Harrison, CA., and three sisters Mary Stillings, FL, Margaret Barefield, Ashland City, and Martha Lee of Dickson.
