Funeral service for William "Bill" Franklin Seago, age 88 of Clarksville, will be Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Jeter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 09, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Bill passed away on Sunday, June 05, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on October 21, 1927 in Bronson, Tx to John R. Seago and Nellie Cole Seago. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Army where he served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Leatrice Duplantis Seago, his son John Robert Seago, and daughter, Brenda Todd.
He is survived by his daughter, Annette Witherow, grandchildren; Christina Mosier, Michael Sims, Veronica Warner, Deidra Seago, Devon Seago and Semina Globe Martin Witherow (monkey face), great-grandchildren; Taylor Sims, Cody Nagle, Amanda Nagle, Rebecca Warner, Elizabeth Warner, Thomas J. Loyd, Phillip J. Loyd, Kaitlyn Seago, John G. Seago and James Davis.
