William Lyle Stevens, age 81, of Clarksville passed away March 6, 2014 at Skyline Medical Center. A private family viewing will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 1:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY.
Mr. Stevens was born July 15, 1932 in Akron, MI to the late Loyd and Beulah Hammond Stevens. He was a retired veteran with the United States Air Force with 29 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Enid Stevens.
He is survived by his children; Jack L. Stevens, William K. Stevens, Linda (Dennis) Cholger, Gail (Todd) Parker; grandchildren, Arreonna Stevens, Loyd Parker, Delana Howe, Bryan Janick; great-grandchildren, Paula Gail Parker, Ali Galea, Anna Howe, Alivia Howe and Aubrey Howe.
