William Spencer

A memorial service for William "Papa Bill" Spencer, age 70 of Clarksville (formerly of Portsmouth, NH), will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Papa Bill passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He was born on June 14, 1948, Flag Day, in Lowell, MA to Waldo and Ruth Spencer. He served two tours in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps. He loved camping, his grandchildren, winter snow, and his Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Spencer; sons, Terry Dyer, Jr. (Amy) and Jonathan Gray; daughter Angela Dyer Twitty (Brian); brother Waldo Spencer; sister Helen Murphy; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
