Reverend Dr. William Sidney Bryant Sr., age 84, of Clarksville passed away on August 5, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Dunbar Cave Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 until the time of service at the church. Mr. Bryant was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina to James and Jesse Bryant on March 25, 1932. He was a member of several civic clubs, the DAV, and the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 32 years, Leanne Bryant, sons; William S. Bryant Jr., David E. Bryant, Larry R. Bryant, and David B. (Lindsey) Johnson, a daughter, Suzanne (Craig) Johnson Cain, brother, Edward (Billie Jean) Bryant of Pacolet, South Carolina, sisters; Dottie (Dubby) Robinson and Sara Bryant, grandchildren; Zach K. Cunningham, Matthew K. Bryant, Gregory G. Bryant, Anna Marie Bryant, Eivy Cain, Christian Cain, Griffin Johnson, Hayden Johnson, and Zachary Arrington, and great grandchild, Riley Mae Bryant, honorary children; Melody Dare Bly, Regee Jones, and Clarence Edward Swimm.
