William Bailey "Bill" Sinks, age 58 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 with Pastor Ron Bailey and Rev. Bob Hargrove officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
He was born September, 17, 1954 in Clarksville, TN to the late George R. Sinks and Catherine J. Weakley Sinks. He was an Ironworker, member of Local 492, a member Madison Street UMC and a member of Bethpage Masonic Lodge 521 since 1978. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine J. Weakley Sinks; wife Lisa Butts Sinks; children, Mandy Aleshia Sinks (Mark), William Matthew (Chassidy) Sinks; brother Brenn R. Sinks; sister, Debbie Noble; grandchildren, Kolby, Bailey; nephews and nieces, Alana, Chris, Charlsie, Ron, Jr. and Brandon.
Pallbearers will be Dean Fain, Billy Fain, Bobby Fain, Chris Butts, Ron Butts and Brandon Butts. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlsie Ford and Mike Ford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wyatts Chapel UMC, 1932 Old Hwy 79, Dover, TN 37058.
