Wiley B. Moore, age 95, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday September 22, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Arrangements by Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
Mr. Moore was born March 31, 1916 in Clarksville, son of the late Edmond S. and Annie Johnson Moore. He was a Real Estate Broker in Chicago, founder and Pastor of The Nation That Shall Obey Non-Denominational Church #1 in Clarksville. He was a member of St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church, graduate of the class of 1932 from the Historic Burt High School. He is a member of the Burt High School Reunion Association, a WWII Veteran, and member of the NAACP.
Survived by his sisters, Anita M. Branch of Clarksville, Jacqueline E. Ward of Chicago, and his niece Chaddra A. Moore of Clarksville.
