A Celebration of Life service for Weslee Hyde, 39 of Clarksville, TN will be held Friday, April 16th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Weslee, a man of devotion to his creed and projects, had opened his heart heavenward and left this life behind—we dedicate a Christian farewell to him from this life. He passes his heart to God, his savior, now. And thus, we must remind ourselves of the life he prepared for the judgement by His Lord.
He was born in Clarksville, TN, as the son of James Cornelius Hyde and Diane Marie Baker. He grew up in Clarksville but graduated from TLC. After graduation, he did not go to college, for his heart tended toward mechanical interests. He fixed cars and motorcycles, which he enjoyed with a passion. We have been told of stories of his mechanical expertise or have witnessed his ingenuity directly. And, as the passions of men change with age, he committed himself to study of finance later in his life. His studies matched those of any dedicated student—he could explain to anyone about the workings of the stock market in particular or investment in general. One must remember that his intellectual pursuits is a representation of his love for God, whom God blesses, not only in this temporary life but as well in the eternal Heaven.
There is then his family, those whom he loved with the highest degree of intensity. This, we may consider, was the highest virtue he had possessed. His love for them was a central theme in his life, and one that we must remember and cherish. There were his siblings that he took care of as the best of brothers do. His parents, James Cornelius Hyde and Diane Marie Baker, who preceded him in death that he derived his honor from. As our family is well acquainted, Weslee was, to our dear Uncle Larry, a shadow of his uncle, who had mentored him and loved him as his own son. And in the latter half of his life, he bore his children. And it was here that his love had reached its pinnacle. He loved his children with an ardent love that no person can forget. And so, he is survived by his children; Oliver Hyde, Wes Hyde, Madison-lynn, Kalece, and Jessica; and then his siblings, nieces, nephew, and other immediate family members.
