Wendell was born on March 14, 1949 in Montgomery County, TN to Charles and Marie Thompson. He passed away on March 10, 2024. Wendell enjoyed listening to music, artwork, karate, astronomy, and chemistry.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bryant Thompson and sister, Evelyn Thompson-Schindler. He is survived by many loving family members.
