Sgt. (Ret) Warren James “Jimmy” Krafft
Warren James Krafft, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday August 30, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. A time of Visitation with the family will be held 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Sykes Funeral Home. An inurnment will follow at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Mr. Krafft was born January 26, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to the late George and Sarah Shaub Walters. He served in the US Army and received three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He also worked for the Chevrolet Manufacturing Company.
He is survived by son, Rory “Mike” (Debra) Krafft of Clarksville; daughter, Melody Krafft of VA; brother, Jimmy Walters of CA; grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Cotter of Franklin, Stephanie (Bobby) Kesner of Jackson, TN and 7 great-grandchldren.
