Funeral service for Wanda Byard, age 74, of Woodlawn, will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, Jan 18, 2017 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Shaun Trescott will officiate and special remarks by Graydon Field. Burial will follow in Sunnyview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Wanda went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 13, 2017 She was born on Oct 17, 1942 in Montgomery County, TN to Jesse and Annie Mae Atkins. She was a member of Sunnyview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Byard, she is survived by her son, David (Teresa) Smith, daughters; Evelyn (Warren) Turner, Monica Davis, and Amanda Byard, sisters; Rebecca Shepherd, Barbara Huff, and Molly Patterson, Grandchildren; Jeremy, Justin, Tabetha, Courtney, Megan, Hannah, Misty, Gabrielle, Maryssa, Adrian, Adam, and Olivia, and 10 great grandchildren.
