Funeral service for Waldon Jackson Powell, age 82 of Clarksville, will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Jeter will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Friday, December 29, 2017 from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
Waldon passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on December 30, 1934 in Montgomery County, TN to William and Etha Powell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and William Powell.
He is survived by his brother, Johnny Powell, and nieces and nephews; Anthony Powell, Norma Purviance, and Marshall Powell.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church Family Life Center.
