Wade Hadley Rudolph

Wade Hadley Rudolph, 68, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 6, 2023. Born on June 13, 1955, in Clarksville, TN, to Wena Hadley and John Rollow Rudolph Sr., Wade's life was full of love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Wade's adventurous spirit, positivity, and gift of perfectly-timed humor left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A beacon of strength and resilience, his personality was infectious, illuminating the lives of friends and family with his quick wit, ever-present smile, and his unwavering love of the water.

Wade is survived by his wife Carrie Rudolph and three loving children, Spencer Rudolph and wife Holley, Morgan Wyman and husband Jake, and Peyton Rudolph. He loved his stepchildren, Jennifer Bumpus and Ashley Cox, and was a proud grandfather to Ramsey, Shepard, and Hugh Hadley Rudolph, Malone Wyman, and Olivia Lane and Margot Cox, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His siblings Margaret Petrone (Bob), John Rollow Rudolph Jr. (Janet), and Carolyn Baar (Dave) will remember him fondly.

The family extends a special thank you to his caregivers Rita, Ann, Emily, and Mina for taking such good care of him in his final months.

His love for life and the joy he found in simple pleasures will forever be remembered. His absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will continue to comfort and inspire all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Wade's life will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and again Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the funeral home.
