Virginia Meek, age 90, of Clarksville, TN passed away April 16, 2015 at Grace Healthcare. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with her great-nephew, David Averitt officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 19 at Sykes Funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Virginia was born September 5, 1924, in Clarksville, TN to the late Sidney and Molly Harris Davis. She was a homemaker who had a great love for hosting family dinners.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 50 years,Howard Meek; brothers, Doc, Ed, Jake, Sidney and Charles; sisters, Nannie Mae and Mildred.
She is survived by her son; Michael Meek, grandchildren; Jason (Jennifer) Meek, Rebecca (William) Keene, Jennifer (Robert) Hoffman, and 5 great-grandchildren.
