Velma E. (Gray) Moore, 91, Glasgow, KY, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Barren County Health Care. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Stutler officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Moore was born July 8, 1919 in Stewart County, daughter of the late Jonas D. and Grace M. Chadwick Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Howard Moore and sisters Betty McAuley and Hilda Cottrell. She was a homemaker and member of Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son Wayne Moore, Glasgow, KY, her daughter Jane Stanley of Newburg, IN., and her brother George Gray of Waynesboro, TN. She has six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leigh Lessenberry, Michael Moore, Matt Moore, Mark Wright, Gary Wright and Ron Wilson.
