Thomas Wiatrowski Sr., 79 of Clarksville Tennessee, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 12th, 2025 despite a brave battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to Francis and Inez Wiatrowski. Tom was a man who lived simply, loved deeply, and always made time for the things — and people — that mattered most.
A true family man, Tom found his greatest joy in time spent with his wife, daughter, and especially his two grandsons, who brought light and laughter to his life. He had a deep love for the ocean and spent countless weekends at his cherished shore house in Sea Isle City. Whether he was relaxing with a cold beer, walking the beach, or just enjoying the salty breeze, the shore was his happy place.
After many years in Philadelphia, Tom and his wife Candis eventually relocated to Tennessee. Though far from the sea, he carried the spirit of the shore with him — and the love of his family always close to his heart.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Michael, Stephen, Frank, and Frances. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Candis; his daughter, Kristina; his son-in-law, Daniel; and his two grandsons, Dillan and Patrick. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, his quiet strength, and the deep love he gave so freely to his family.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. His family asks that in honor of Tom, you raise a glass, share a laugh, and take a moment to appreciate the people you love — just as he always did.
Though he’s no longer at the shore, his memory will forever roll in with the tide and live on in those who knew and loved him.
