Thomas Wade Knott, 74, Dover, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Gateway Medical Center. No services are planned. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Knott was born February 21, 1936 in Stewart County, son of the late Cullom and Lennie Woodson Knott. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Knott. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife Bertie Wofford Knott; sons Terry, Kerry and Waylon Knott all of Nashville, and daughters Penny Cliburn of Gallatin, and Jackie Weaver of Nashville.
