Thomas Earl Cox Thomas Earl Cox, 59, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Timothy Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cox was born October 2, 1948 in Ft. Benning, GA, son of Earl M. Cox, Jr. and Emma Milstead Cox. He was employed by Jostens, was of the Methodist faith and served in the U. S. Marines. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Patricia Perry Cox; daughters Stephanie Cox, Texas; Linda Thompson, Clarkville and a step-son Jason Jines, Clarksville. Other survivors include two step daughters, Rachel Smith and Georgette Jines, of Clarksville; brother Gordon L. (Sue) Cox, VA; sister Linda A. Walters, CA; nieces Melissa Walters, CA; Shirley Ann Cox, VA; nephew Cason Cox, VA; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
