Theresa Jean Edwards, age 81, of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully February 14, 2013 at Grace Nursing Home in Clarksville,TN.
She was born August 26, 1931 in Salisbury, N.C., the daughter of Scottie and Lizzie Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Eugene Edwards of Alexandria, VA.
She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Dr. Deborah Taylor of Alexandria, VA, and Dana Dantzler of Clarksville, TN, Son-in- law Rev. Richard Dantzler of Clarksville, TN. Granddaughter Jessica Hopewell of Dallas, TX, two great-grandchildren, Jaylen & Jayla Hopewell of Dallas, TX, one sister Betty Robinson of Alexandria, VA, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Theresa's request was to be cremated and her ashes buried next to her husband Eugene. Burial will take place in a private ceremony at a later date in Quantico, VA.
