Thelbert Joseph (Joe) Lollar, 65, Clarksville, died Friday, September 4, 2009, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home and from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lollar was born in Hopkinsville, KY on October 10, 1943 to the late Thelbert Corrine and Beulah Mae Herman Lollar. He was also preceded in death by sisters; Margaret Ann Baker and Norma Lee Graham.
He was employed in the Credit/Collections Department at Gary Matthews First Industrial Corporation. He Served in the U.S. Army during during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Excell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Reda Fay Joiner Lollar of Clarksville; son, Jeff Lollar of Clarksville; daughter, Angie (John) Harvey of Clarksville; sister Linda Corrine (Charles) Cable of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren, Sydni, Jade and Ryan Harvey.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Pryor, Don Pryor, Bradley Hagewood, Chris Sizemore, Bill Sizemore, Jackie Rogers
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gateway Hospice; Excell Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society
