Funeral service for Terry Lee Sherfield, age 49 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 06, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Terry passed away on Tuesday, August 02, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on January 18, 1967 in Montgomery Co. TN to Orby "Lee" and Lillie Sherfield. Terry enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He participated and volunteered for the annual Kiwanis Fishing Rodeo, and was a fishing tour guide on Kentucky Lake for many years. Terry was a former employee for Grandpa's Outdoors for several years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura McGowan.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his children; Tiffany Elrod, James McGowan, Amanda McGowan, Adam McGowan, Lindsey McGowan, Jamie McGowan and Jay McGowan and six grandchildren.
