Terry Wayne King, age 69, of Clarksville passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Nashville. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Excell Baptist Church with Rev. James Sheppard and Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Excell Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the King Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1943 in Clarksville to the late Vernon and Buena Idell Eatherly King. He was also preceded in death by sister, Patsy Cross. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was employed in retail sales at Grampa's Outdoors. He is survived by son, Todd King; sister, Billy Sue Heggie, grandchildren, Samantha and Sarah King.
Pallbearers will be Greg Cross, Justin Cross, Hunter Cross, Larry Chapman, Trish Alexander, Charles Rushing.
