Sylvia Rowena Wear Holland, age 70, of Clarksville passed a way at her residence, Friday, April 22, 2011 with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. A memorial Service will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
She was born September 14, 1940 in Lenoir City, TN to the late Malcolm Hall Wear and Elsie Frances Lambert Wear. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dennis Holland; brother, Gary Wear; and brother-in-law, Robert Blanton.
She was a retired store owner and had also worked as a Tax Consultant.
She is survived by daughter, Debra (Jeff) Harden of Clarksville; sister, Gay Frances Blanton of Clarksville; brother, Michael Hall (Judy) Wear of Clarksville, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Online condolences may be made at www.sykesfuneralhome.com
