Susie Sutton

Susie Sinks Sutton, 99, of Southside, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare.
Susie was born August 5, 1917, in Montgomery County to Daniel Thomas Sinks and Zelma Reynolds Sinks.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ray Sutton; brothers D.T. Sinks, Harold Ray Sinks and Samuel Thurman Sinks.
Mrs. Sutton was a teacher for 32 years for Clarksville Montgomery County School System. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, canning, and gardening.
She is survived by her brother, Jessie Sinks, sisters; Mary Lou Grimes, Bessie Russell, and Irma Jo Eads, four children; Phillip (Roberta) Sutton of Southside, Carolyn Sutton Devers of Southside, Ronnie Sutton of Southside and Bonnie Sutton Swiderski of Clarksville, five grandchildren; Kerry (Pam) Sutton of Charlotte, TN, Jackie Devers (Rick) Harmon of Charlotte, TN, Lonnie (Bobbie) Devers, Jr., of Clarksville, TN, John (Gail) Swilderski of Southside, TN, and Michael Swiderski of Dayton, OH and twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
