Susan Basham Lamb

A visitation for Susan Basham Lamb, age 66, will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. 

Susan was born February 22, 1958 in Montgomery County to Hershel Basham, Jr. and Mary Sykes Basham. She passed away peacefully and quickly on February 16, 2025 with her family by her side. Susan was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School and Austin Peay State University with a degree in Business Administration. 

Known for her big heart, quick wit and beautiful smile, Susan was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. She adored her family, especially her nephews. From the minute they were born, Don Morgan Jr. and Lance Morgan held a special place in her heart. They were the lights in her life and she would come to love their wives Kayla and Kiley just as much. However, the sun rose and set in her eyes when four little boys came along; her great-nephews: Owen, Bridger, Hank, and Miles. Susan will be truly missed by those that loved her.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Ward Lamb. Along with her mother and nephews, Susan is survived by her siblings, Sarah Basham Morgan (Don) and Hershel Basham III (Lynda); and her lifelong friend, Laraye Harris.
