Susan Kathleen Johannes, 55, Indian Mound, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home with Father Theo Ebulueme officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until hour of service Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Johannes was born in Painsville, OH on October 12, 1955 to the late William J. Dressler and the late Mariedna B. Pennington. She was retired from the Civil Service, served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer from 1974 to 1977 and was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Alvin "Jo" Johannes; daughters, Mandi (Steve) Bennett, Amie (Brett) Lehman; grandchildren, Hunter Bennett, Morgan Bennett, Sarah Bennett, Connor Lehman, Blake Lehman; brothers, Paul Pomp of AZ, Sid Pomp of FL and Rod Pomp of CA. Pallbearers will be Brett Lehman, Steve Bennett, Charlie Matson, Harold Matson, Mike Johannes, Rod Pomp, Roger Burnett and Al Labuda. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
