Steve Barton, age 56, of Clarksville passed away July 3, 2014 at his residence. A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel.
Steve was born August 21, 1957 in Pittsburg, CA, to the late William H. Barton and Helen Messer Crews. He was an United States Army veteran with 13 years of active duty and retired from the National Guard. He later served his community as a reserve for the Montgomery County Sheriff's office and 22+ years as a City of Clarksville Firefighter.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Torres Barton; sons, Justin P. Curran and his wife Cianna, Daniel C.L. Sackett; daughter, Kathy V.A. Brickner and her husband Andrew; grandchildren, Chastity A.N. Sackett, Liam W.M. Brickner, Graysen M.A. Brickner; brother, Kenny M. Crews; sister, Vikki L. Lockhart.
