Ssg Philip Myers, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for SSG Philip Arthur Myers, ARMY (Ret), 69, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Philip was born in Ogden, UT to Charles and Dorothy Soanes Myers who preceded him in death. He passed away on October 25, 2021. Philip retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service and working at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. He loved his family, fishing, gardening, reading, and cooking.

Philip is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ching Kiang Myers; children: John Myers and his wife Kimberly and Elizabeth Myers Wells; siblings, Garry Peterson and Penelope Flaviani and their families; and grandchildren: Hannah, Leah, and Genesis Myers.
