Ssg Herman Livingston (Ret)

A Funeral service with military honors for SSG Herman Dean Livingston (Ret), age 79 of Clarksville, will be Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, Apr 23, 2018 before the service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Herman  passed away on Thursday, Apr 19, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.  He was born on Jul 30, 1938 in Pinckneyville, Illinois to Floyd and Maggie Livingston.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and survived by his loving wife of 18 years Hwa Suk Livingston, daughter Rebecca (Mike Finn) Livingston, brother Clyde Livingston, sisters; Louise Borers, Edith Ragsdale, and Mini Albright, and granddaughter Madalyn Finn.

Herman proudly served in the United States Army for over 20 years where he was the recipient of many awards and medals to include a Silver Star in which he received during his time in the Vietnam War. He attended Abundant Faith Church.
