A graveside service for SSG John A. Wilkins, Jr. ARMY (Ret), age 67, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where military honors will be rendered. Chaplain Andre Frandle will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home.

John was born on May 10, 1956, in Syracuse, NY, to John Sr. and Elizabeth Wilkins. He passed away on May 1, 2024. John retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service as a chaplain's assistant. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching baseball, and listening to nature while sitting outside.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters, Sandy and Sue. He is survived by his wife, Pong Suk Wilkins; son, John Wilkins III; daughter, Diva Barger; grandchildren: Cyrus Kamali, Callie Wilkins, Lucas Wilkins, and Aeris Wilkins; sisters: Sherry, Valerie, Vicki, Stephanie, and Betsy; and step-mother, Ava M. Wilkins.
