SSG (Ret) Stanley Reed Frisby, 61, Clarksville, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at the VA Hospital in Nashville. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday with full Military Honors at 7:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Frisby was born in St. Louis, MO July 22, 1948 to the late Raymond Lee (Sr.) and Roberta E. Williams Frisby. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles L. Frisby, Jr. who was killed in action in the Vietnam War and a daughter Jennifer Frisby. He served his country in the USMC and then US Army. He served during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He is survived by his wife, Antonia Domingo Frisby, Clarksville; daughters, Divina Thompson of Nashville, Tinia Frisby of TX; brothers, Raymond Lee Frisby, Jr of WY, Richard Frisby of MT, Dana Frisby of MO, Kevin Frisby of WY, Gregg Frisby of VA, Kenneth Frisby of TX; sisters, Donna Haas of WA, Debra Beguette Frisby of IL, Bonita Frisby of WY and 7 grandchildren. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
