SSG Charles Louis Roiz, ARMY (Ret)

Charles Louis Roiz, ARMY (Ret), age 66, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on March 5, 2025.

Charles, affectionately known as Chuck, was born on February 12, 1959, in Oakland, CA, to Ernest and Hattie Roiz who preceded him in death. He retired from the United States Army and again from the United States Postal Service in 2023. Chuck loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed cheering on the Oakland Raiders and Oakland A's, as well as fishing and spending time with his friends at VFW Post 11160.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Edith Roiz and brothers: Dennis Roiz, Ben Roiz, David Roiz, and Gilbert Roiz. Chuck is survived by his step-sons, Christopher (Julie) Miller and Stephen (Stacica) Miller; sisters: Nadene Landa, Tina Berry, Evelyn Berg, Helen Roiz, and Linda Golden; and grandchildren: Sean Miller, Paige Miller, Jasmine Miller, Alyssia Miller-Coe, and Kerrina Miller.
