Joseph P. Gallagher, Sr., age 87 of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held 9:30 am Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1489 Donelson Pkwy, Dover, TN with Father Gaffrey officiating.
Mr. Gallagher was born on March 17, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Gallagher and a son, Joseph P. Gallagher, Jr.
He was a Veteran of the US Army and a Catholic.
He is survived by step-daughter, Barbara Hatcher of NY.
