Charles Berry Bourne, Sr., age 73, of Indian Mound, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his residence. A private graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 15 at Riverview Cemetery. Charles was born April 12, 1941 in Montgomery County, to the late Will and Maggie Lyle Bourne. He was a self-employed brick mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel and the mother of his children, Daisy Huff Bourne, four brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his sons, Berry (Karen) Bourne, Timmy Bourne, and Bryan Bourne; sisters, Lucy Wilson and Fannie Powers and six grandchildren. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
