Simmie Banes

Simmie Carlton Banes, age 83, passed away on Sunday, Feb 21, 2016. He was born on July 14, 1932 in Meridian, Mississippi to Roy and Lillie Banes. He was a retired truck driver and was a veteran of the United States Army. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters; Lucille Floyd and Myrtle Perry. He is survived by his wife; Frances (Taylor) Banes, daughter; Renea Sodoma, brother; Mabry Banes, sister; Mildred Shieves, grandchildren; Clay Sodoma, Kristen Tabor and Sarah Sodoma,and great-grandchild; Brantlee Tabor.
