ShaWanda Ann Guillotte was born in Gulfport, Mississippi to Larry (Annie) Cousan and Willie Mae Chamberlain Cousan. After she received her GED, she pursued her career in Cosmetology and Criminal Justice receiving a degree in both.

ShaWanda was a member of Boiling Springs Missionary Baptist Church on Tiny Town Rd, Clarksville, TN where she served as an usher a few years after joining. She loved and was devoted to her family and she never met a stranger that she could not make laugh as she loved cracking jokes. She loved her horror movies especially Halloween. There was never a Tyler Perry movie that she could not recite each line word for word. She loved her R&B, Jazz and Gospel music.

ShaWanda leaves behind to cherish her memory, Alex Guillotte her loving husband of 24 years, two daughters, Chandliar C. Cousan and Zima L. Woods of Clarksville, Tennessee; a father and mother, Larry F. (Annie) Cousan of Jacksonville, Florida and Willie Mae Chamberlain Cousan of Clarksville, Tennessee; her best friends, life lines, her sisters Connie Marie Cousan of Clarksville, Tennessee; Carlus Brown of Columbus, Georgia; and TiaJuana (Lavell) McPherson of Houston, Texas: Her brothers: Larry Q. (Aungelique) Cousan of Jacksonville, Florida; Roy (Erin) Moody of Jacksonville, Florida: Her pride and joy, her grandkids, Jordyan J. Mitchell, Tylah J. Kenney and Ka’Mari L. Woods all of Clarksville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews: Michael B. Leason, E’lyssia A. Brown, Darel (Okemia) Cousan, Allen Thomas, Lezzeunna May-Cousan, Diamond May, Quinton Cousan, Kingston Moody, and Larry Q. Jr.; great nieces and nephews: Mylah and Shamir Leason, Audrique and Kanen Hildreth and Amara Cousan, Bella M. May-Cousan.

ShaWanda also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends she called family and will reunite with her grandmothers and aunt.

A Celebration of Life service for ShaWanda Ann Guillotte will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
