Sgt Lois Schwerdtfeger, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for SGT Lois Nadine Schwerdtfeger, ARMY (Ret), age 44 of Woodlawn, will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Lois passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born on September 4, 1976 in Sacremento, CA to Jim and Sharon Hern. Lois retired from the United States Army. She liked exotic birds, arts and crafts, and enjoyed scuba diving.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Wes Schwerdtfeger; sons: Sean Noyes-Schwerdtfeger, James Schwerdtfeger, and Scott Schwerdtfeger; siblings: James Hern, Jr., Billy Hern, Ashley Hern, Abby Arika, and Ethan Erhardt.
