SGM Anthony Michael Guretz, ARMY (Ret)

 A graveside service for SGM Anthony Michael Guretz, ARMY (Ret), age 77, of Adams, TN, will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where full military honors will be rendered. 

Anthony, affectionately known as Tony, was born on May 14, 1947, in Chicago, IL. He passed away on January 2, 2025. Tony retired from the United States Army after a successful career of over 25 years. He served in Vietnam and was awarded many meritorious commendations. Tony was a skilled carpenter, but his passion was rescuing Basenji dogs. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Christine Guretz. Tony is survived by his good friends, Bob (Cindy) Worth and Charles (Debra) Barber; and his beloved dogs: Jose, Zack, Ziva, and Zoey.
