Sfc (Ret) Pedro Moreno

Pedro Adolfo Moreno died peacefully in Clarksville, TN at the age of 78 on the 6th Nov.

Pedro is survived by his ex-wife Phyllis J. Hatfield of Sparta, WI, three children, Jeffery A. Moreno of Cashton, WI, Gregory A. Moreno of Washington Courthouse, OH, and Petra D. Moreno-Frasca of Clarksville, TN. Pete also has five grandchildren Megan J. Rose, Jeffery A. Moreno, Jr. (Jennifer), Jean E. Ames (Andrew), Jeremie L. Moreno, Josie-Marie M. Moreno and two great grandchildren Adrian M. Saucedo, Johanna M. Moreno. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Adolfo Moreno & Josefa Martinez-Moreno, 5 sisters Jesuasa Moreno-Ortega, Frances Moreno-Lartigue, Inocencia Moreno, Josefa Moreno, Olimpia Moreno, 5 brothers Raul Moreno, Ruben Moreno Sr, Daniel Moreno, Abraham Moreno, Santiago Moreno Sr.  He is survived by Olivia Moreno-Vela, Alfredo Moreno, Jose Rodolfo Moreno, Rogelio Moreno and many nephews and nieces and family.

Pedro was born on 12 March 1939 in McAllen, TX to Aldofo and Josefa Moreno. Pedro served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He retired with 20 years of military service as a Sergeant First Class and also worked as a federal employee for an additional 17 years at Fort Campbell, KY. One of Pedro’s greatest passions was to dance, sing, and entertain his friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 12:00 pm with burial following at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Family will receive friends Monday, November 13, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of service.  A reception will follow at the VFW Post 11160 at 1068 Lafayette Rd, Clarksville, TN.
