Sfc Jose Casanova

Funeral service for Jose Vincente Casanova, age 60 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Nov 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Jose  passed away on Tuesday, Nov 17, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on Nov 29, 1954 in Humacao Puerto Rico to Vicente and Martina Casanova.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Carmen Casanova. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Bediha Casanova, two sons, Omar(Terra)Casanova and Jammal (Hailey)Casanova, sister, Wanda(Jose)Torres, and grandchildren; Don Don Casanova, Victoria Fletcher, Misty Fletcher one on the way, and his girl Mamba who was always right there with him. Jose also leaves behind a niece, nephew, and many other family and friends in Tennessee, Philadelphia, and Turkey.
Mr. Casanova retired after 21 years in the United States Army where he received many medals and awards during his service. He was a member of the 160th Blackhawks Nightstalkers.   " He was best at everything he accomplished in Life"
