Sfc Eugene King, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life  service for SFC Eugene Walter King, ARMY (Ret), age 69 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Gene passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.  He was born on September 21, 1949 in Grayling, Michigan to Christopher Walter King and Genevieve King.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his loving wife of 51 years Janet Thornton King, sons Eugene(Rejina) King II and Jason King, several brothers and sisters and 4 grandchildren.

Gene served 21 years in the United States Army where he fought during the Vietnam War. He is a lifetime member of the NRA, AMVETS, and the DAV.
