SFC Terry Bennett Sexton, ARMY (RET)

A Celebration of Life service for SFC Terry Bennett Sexton, ARMY (Ret), will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where full military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 10:30AM until the time of service.

Terry was born on July 4, 1961 in Orlando, FL, to Bennett and Judy Sexton. He passed away on April 7, 2025. Terry retired from the United States Army after more than 20 years of service. He enjoyed drawing, painting, and playing guitar. Mostly, Terry enjoyed time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brothers, Sam Sexton and Yule Sexton. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Wehrley Sexton; children: Kelly (Jason) Singer, Angela Sexton, and Charles (Rometra) Sexton; brother, Danny Sexton; and grandchildren: Emily, James, Aria, Ava, Jaxson, and Zoey.
