SFC (Ret) Jeffrey Scott Stinson, age 50 of Oak Grove, KY passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Lake Barkley after a day of activities with his family. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Sykes Funeral Home with full military honors. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until hour of service on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Mr. Stinson was born November 25, 1960 in Canton, OH to the late Joseph Cartwright and Dorothy Zeck Stinson. He retired from the US Army and was employed at Gary Matthews Car Dealership in Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Harkcom Stinson; sons, Steven Andrew Stinson and Brian Joseph Stinson; siblings, Alan Stinson, Jerry Stinson, Dianne Barnes and Mark Stinson.
Pallbearers will be David Feltman, Larry Alexander, Steve Winchester, Pete Hall, Byron Russell and Steve Stinson.
