SPC Preston Edward Loomis, ARMY

 A Celebration of Life service for SPC Preston Edward Loomis, ARMY, age 25, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, February 19, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Preston was born in Montgomery County, TN, on December 1, 1998. He passed away on February 11, 2024. Preston was currently serving in the United States Army. He was an avid duck hunter and enjoyed working on his truck. He loved cheering on the Tennessee Vols and the Tennessee Titans, hockey, and playing video games.

Preston is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward Sr. and Barbara Loomis and maternal grandfather, Steve Grant. He is survived by his wife, Courtney Loomis; son, Cooper Childress; father, Eddie (Wendy) Loomis; mother, Jill (James) Gleckler; siblings: Chelsea (Chris) Collins, J.P. Gleckler, Morgan (Hunter) Gleckler, Raegan (Mason) Gleckler, Allicen (Dayton) Goodwin, and Bentley Loomis; maternal grandmother, Nancy Grant and maternal grandfather, Johnny Crain; and his dog, Cora.
