SFC Larry Eugene Gasper, ARMY (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for SFC Larry Eugene Gasper, ARMY (Ret) age 75, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, August 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. 

Larry was born on November 6, 1948 in Lyons, NY, to Elias and Clarabelle Gasper. He passed away on August 13, 2024. Larry was retired from the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family, especially cheering on his grandchildren in their sporting events. Larry was an animal lover and liked bowling, swimming, and collecting things. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 6 siblings. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Maureen Gasper; children: Robert (Stephanie) Armbrust, Tamara (Brent) Ferguson, and Dawna Thompson; grandchildren: Kimberly, Kelly, Jennifer, Alyssa, Austin, Sara, Saydee, and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Harleigh, Caylee, Zayden, Jaxson, and Oaklynn; and siblings, Marie Lefever and Ralph Gasper.
