Sarah Frances Suiter Weatherford, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. James Sanders and Bro. Jim Graves officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home and 2:00 p.m until hour of service on Friday at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born in Montgomery County, TN on August 20, 1927 to the late William and Dora Gafford Suiter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Weatherford; son, Mark Weatherford and sister, Margie Skinner.
She was retired from Jostens Printing and Publishing as a Yearbook designer. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughter, Connie Harris and husband, Sid; grandsons, Aaron Harris and wife, Karen; Nathan Harris; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Piper and Brody.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Harris, Nathan Harris, Tim Skinner, Phil Skinner, Gary Weatherford and Jim Suiter.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund, AseraCare Hospice or the Activities Fund at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living Facility.
