Sarah Earline McLean, age 86, of Cunningham passed away January 1, 2014 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday January 4, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. B.J. Brack officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery, Cunningham, TN. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
Mrs. McLean was born in Montgomery County, December 22, 1927 to the late Jim and Addie Blackwell. She was the former owner of Clarksville Vacuums and worked for Frosty Morn for 27 years before their closing. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 6 children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. McLean, Jr.; sisters, Catherine Heaton, Virginia Hickerson, Elizabeth Floyd, Adell Heggie; brother, Ira Blackwell; daughter-in-law, Helen McLean and sons-in-law, Phillip Welch and Roger Kinsey. She is survived by her sons, Grover C. (Betty) McLean III, Gary (Barbara) McLean, Larry (Sharon)McLean, Sr., Harold (Kathy) McLean; daughters, Sue (Wayne) Adams, Brenda Kinsey; sisters, Betty (Grover) Gambreal and Frances Miller ; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
